Opportunity: Maintenance Technician II – Phoenix, AZ Days required: Monday – Friday
Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for our beautiful 240‑unit community, Level at Sixteenth! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the property management industry.
Responsibilities
Work in turnover and renovation units, and respond to maintenance service requests.
Perform external and internal repairs, including drywall, painting, fence and gate repairs, plumbing installation or repairs, appliance repairs, boilers and HVAC systems, and common area clean‑up.
Participate in emergency and after‑hours coverage based on the established schedule or as required.
Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
Fabricate and repair cabinets, counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
Maintain or assist in maintaining inventory and prepare related paperwork.
Keep storage facilities and equipment in an orderly, working condition.
Qualifications
Must have 2 years of experience in all trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances, etc.).
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in performing quality work; ability to use required tools and machinery; professional interaction with co‑workers, residents and vendors; knowledge of OSHA requirements; knowledge of MSDS requirements appropriate to the scope of work.
Ability to read and interpret service orders and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
High school diploma or GED, technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work weekends as required.
Compensation Salary range: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour. Additional benefits include a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full‑time employees who work 30–40 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits, and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
