The Warehouse Associate III will retrieve stock to fill the shipping warehouse, accept incoming shipments, and maintain the general organization of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
Safely operate various industrial equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, turret).
Consistently meet and exceed expectations in picking, packing, metering, and shipping.
Manage and process complex or large customer orders (LTL and Small Parcel).
Conduct thorough checks of customer orders, identifying, recording, and fixing errors.
Pack customer orders to ensure safe transportation.
Navigate Softeon menus to pack orders, process shipments, and resolve minor software errors.
Check, pack, and ship international and special‑handling orders.
Generate necessary shipping labels and documents for shipments.
Load and unload LTL trucks.
Train and mentor employees in picking, packing, metering, and shipping.
Assist in receiving products, breaking down pallets, sorting items by SKU, and counting items by SKU before placing them into inventory.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the work area.
Participate in physical inventories as required.
Physical Requirements
Must be in good physical condition.
Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (varied based on daily tasks).
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have good hand/eye coordination.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of distribution center experience.
At least 1 year experience on Softeon.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to operate material handling equipment: hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts (stand‑up/sit‑down), order/cherry picker, Bendi forklift, turret truck.
Comfortable using equipment and elevating to heights ranging from 18 ft to 30 ft.
Flexible – overtime and weekend work as needed.
Ability to read and write in English.
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, both independently and with others.
