Quality Technician (1st Shift)

Fortune Circle 2840 Fortune Cir W, Suite C Indianapolis, IN 46241, USA Component and assembled part layout in accordance to drawing Line Faro for quality concerns Support / Engage of deviations Support Calibration, Gage Trak, system (inspection, test equipment, functional gages ) Complete capability studies on critical, major and minor characteristics Program development in PPAP principles and practices Document & record data collected on inspection forms legibly Keep work area safe and clean (5S – Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) Promote quality workmanship that meets and/or exceeds customer expectations Can use Microsoft Office proficiently (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Teams) Assist with Housekeeping in MRB area Support Operations with NCMR process, inspect parts Follow ITAR processes when appropriate Assist MRB area with material handling, inventory, non-standard jobs etc. Perform other duties as directed by Manager EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar position is preferred Ability to read a tape measurement. Ability to read manual calipers. Ability to read and understand blueprints SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Quality plans and controls knowledge Gauging knowledge needed CMM knowledge preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Overall knowledge of preventive vs. predictive maintenance techniques Detail Oriented Observe all safety and OSHA procedures and standards. Maximum lifting of 25lb without assistance. PPE is required at times. Must have the ability to stand, sit and walk at least 75% of the time. Shift Hours:
