Maintenance Technician

Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance duties of associations involving exterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, minor roofing repairs, and other exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safely maintained.
Work hours: M-F 8AM-5PM with occasional weekends.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.
Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.
Maintain company‑issued vehicle (routine PM’s, oil changes etc.), if applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Required.
2+ years of general, residential, maintenance experience.
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
Customer service focused and team oriented.
Self‑motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow‑up skills.
Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.); OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements and State or local governmental safety requirements.
Time management and time‑critical prioritization skills.
Valid driver's license is required.
