Maintenance Technician 3 – USA Parkway – Tellworks Logistics – Sparks, NV

Tellworks, a growing 3PL provider, is currently seeking Maintenance Technicians in our Sparks, NV warehouse.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 5:00 pm – 1:30 am

The continued growth of Tellworks has created the need for a Facilities/MHE Maintenance Technician ready to hit the ground running and perform a range of duties, including routine facility maintenance, minor equipment repairs, and conveyor preventative maintenance in accordance with all safety standards. Works with and assists contractors to complete projects or complex repairs. The individual in this position must be capable of performing all the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Primary Job Responsibilities

PLC install and repair of industrial electronic equipment, including I/O networks, data highways, variable speed drives, and process control equipment.

Program automated conveyor systems.

Troubleshoot and repair industrial 480‑volt electrical systems.

Perform all scheduled preventative maintenance duties related to conveyor belts, roller systems, and various material handling equipment.

Maintain adequate replacement parts inventory for critical repairs.

Troubleshoot conveyor mechanical problems and consult with factory support technicians as needed.

Read and understand electrical, controls, and mechanical installation blueprints.

Perform daily visual and sound inspections of systems for possible malfunctions.

Understand relevant computer department functions and controls of the pick/pack system.

Proficiently understand electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

Respond to off‑shift emergencies as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

High School diploma, GED equivalent, or 2‑year technical college or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands

Must be able to move about the warehouse to access product, machinery, and assist others.

Must be able to move and place cartons on pallets weighing up to 60 pounds.

Must be able to bend downward using legs at knee.

Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange accurate information in English.
