Job Summary The Production Technician I is an entry level role which operates manufacturing equipment, assembles and measures products, and adheres to all factory safety guidelines and standards. This role will require you carry out your duties in accordance with ENPRO's Core values of Safety, Excellence, and Respect. Operating production machinery and performs machine setups under supervision

Follows production plans and processes to meet specifications and deadlines

Assists in basic troubleshooting of production issues

Reads and interprets simple blueprints and technical documentation

Performs in-process quality checks using basic measuring tools

Maintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards

Supports the team in improving efficiency through 5S and process improvements

Job Competencies & Qualifications

Understands basic safety standards and policies

Basic tool and mechanical aptitude

Ability to follow verbal and detailed written instructions

Requirements

High School diploma/GED or Vocational School equivalent

1+ year of experience in manufacturing preferred

Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly communicate. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle material, as well as reach with hands and arms (including overhead). The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
