Job Summary
Warehouse Material Handlers are responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving and shipping customer orders to ensure they are processed in a timely and secure manner. This position requires minimal forklift operation. Warehouse Material Handlers are given extensive training for success in their position. You will be expected to be fast-paced and attentive to detail, willing to work hard with a good attitude, and able to embrace change. Monday-Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Starting wage is $20.00/hr with potential up to $0.88 in raises every 6 months Responsibilities
Check-in and put away incoming warehouse inventory. Packing orders to ensure customers receive orders intact in as short a time frame and with high accuracy while maintaining quality. Downsizing packaging to minimize shipping costs without sacrificing quality or safety that the product will be delivered without damages. Bill and ship completed orders to the customer with provided warehouse software. Palletize and load finished shipments onto trailer with provided equipment. Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to carry out duties and ensure a safe work environment. Communicate with warehouse supervisor regarding issues or concerns about duties. Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor. Physical Requirements
Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to 12 hours per day. Requires ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. Regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation. Regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching. Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs. Experience
1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required Education
