Job Title Inventory Coordinator

Position Summary The Inventory Coordinator plays a critical role in helping maintain accurate inventory at the Pottstown site by facilitating physical counts, monitoring system locations and transactions, supporting inventory investigations, and serving as the site liaison for the inventory team. This position also supports audit and traceability activities and provides shipping and receiving assistance as needed, serving as a primary backup to the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator.
What You Will Do
Facilitate and execute regular cycle counts and support full physical inventory counts
Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root‑cause analysis, and document corrective actions
Monitor inventory locations, movements, and system transactions to ensure accuracy
Prepare inventory reports, count documentation, and audit support materials
Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze inventory data and trends
Support audit and traceability activities, including documentation and follow‑up
Serve as the site liaison between the Pottstown facility and the inventory team
Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed
Act as primary backup to the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse processes
Follow all company safety, quality, and compliance procedures
What You Will Bring
Strong attention to detail and a high level of ownership over data accuracy
Proven ability to investigate problems, analyze information, and implement solutions
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally
Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
Dependability, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
3+ years of inventory coordination/control experience, including cycle counting and physical inventories
2+ years of shipping & receiving experience in a warehouse environment
Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis
Forklift experience highly desired but not required
Food Safety, Quality & Compliance (if applicable)

This role may require adherence to GMP, HACCP, Allergen Control, and SSOP standards; accurate documentation and traceability practices; audit or recall support activities as directed.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
Must be able to lift up to 50-55 lbs at a time.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock.
