Dispatcher

Responsibilities
Serve with passion, innovate relentlessly, engage with integrity, build community, and be accountable.
Provide an outstanding customer experience while managing the customer’s needs in a timely, effective manner.
Prioritise calls by requested times, size of customer, and customer need.
Ensure work is completed efficiently, driving productivity to meet management goals.
Answer and assist every ETA call that comes into the dispatch center while keeping our customer experience top‑notch.
Route and send daily orders into the system to the driver’s route while maintaining communication throughout the day with the driver.
Keep an upbeat and positive attitude throughout the day in the midst of heavy phone volume with drivers.
Work a Saturday rotation as instructed by management.
Enter customer issues into the system for management to review.
Report damage and/or accidents to the roll‑off operations manager.
Qualifications
Ability to multi‑task.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Task oriented.
Upbeat and energized to complete tasks with a positive attitude.
Waste‑industry experience preferred but not required.
General industry knowledge preferred but not required.
Good general computer knowledge and typing skills.
Must work well under pressure.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Occasionally required to stand and walk.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Sporadic local travel required.
