Mountville Rubber Company is a custom rubber mixing business that provides internal and external customers with 45 million pounds of un-cured rubber across several industries from two manufacturing facilities in Lagrange, GA. Annual sales in 2023 totaled $60,000,000.
Key Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair facilities and equipment (including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems) such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for industrial machinery or equipment and measuring instruments.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Use CMMS system to track and gather information on maintenance activities.
Use a multimeter, a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Initiate corrective and preventative action within the scope of your responsibility.
Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures when necessary.
Keep work area and tools clean and orderly.
Pay Range $23-$35/hr, depending on experience
Qualifications
Two (2) years of industrial maintenance experience is required, five (5) or more years of experience preferred.
Mechanical ability to complete tasks such as replacing motors, repairing plumbing issues, etc.
Electrical troubleshooting experience
Experience with CMMS software
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Knowledge of 5S or Lean manufacturing principles a plus
Ability to perform multiple tasks.
Basic Windows and Microsoft Office knowledge desired
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work independently as necessary.
Capable of working flexible hours, overtime when necessary.
Working Conditions
This position involves travel to two Mountville Rubber locations within 1 mile of each other.
