Job Description Summary Under the direction of the Supervisory Staff, the Logistics Technician (Tech) performs standard work including safety programs, monthly training, operating all warehouse equipment, loading/unloading trucks and rail cars, handling/storing finished goods, inventory tasks, maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and continuous skill development. The position ensures optimum warehouse efficiency, collaborates with a team, maintains a clean, sanitary environment, follows hygienic zoning protocols, and provides relief to other associates as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Model compliance with company policies and procedures.

Understand warehouse operations and daily tasks.

Operate and maintain equipment in good working condition.

Participate in root cause analysis and use available tools.

Support other warehouse tasks as assigned.

Maintain inventory records accurately.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks.

Mark materials with identifying information.

Complete skills validations within required training timeframe.

Convey materials from receiving or production to storage or other designated areas.

Sort and place items on racks according to predetermined sequence.

Address wrong behaviors against SOPs, GMP, and safety practices to improve team performance.

Verify product placement during receiving using an Inbound Receiving Note.

Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.

Execute appropriate inventory tasks.

Drive forklift to transport stored items within the warehouse, to the plant, truck, or railcar.

Other duties as assigned.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Break relief for other technicians as assigned.

Effective verbal and written communication in English.

Ability to safely lift 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with team lifting.

Display skills in manufacturing processes, operating, maintaining, and cleaning automated equipment.

Maintain accurate records and data.

Strong technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Operate essential material‑handling equipment (clamp truck, forklift, hand trucks, etc.).

Physical Requirements

Use hand and power tools.

Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move on stairs, ladders, and platforms; twist, turn, and bend.

Enter confined spaces.

Stand on concrete floors for extended periods.

Work any day of the week, including weekends, and in rotating shifts (typically 12 hours per day). Overtime may be required.

Additional Requirements

18 years of age or older.

Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes).

Willingly work day and night rotating shifts on a monthly basis.
