Position Description Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Hagerstown, MD. The position is a full-time role with weekly payroll.
Compensation and Schedule
Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Mid Shift Monday-Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm (could move to 10:30 am - 7:00 pm)

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including electrical and mechanical repair and troubleshooting
Ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
Experience operating forklift equipment required
Equipment certification may be required
Responsibilities
Performs maintenance and troubleshooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner
Maintains and troubleshoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable
Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems
Performs routine forklift repairs
Maintains batteries and related equipment
Performs routine preventive maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs
Provides training on safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment to operations associates, if required
Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
