Location: Hagerstown, MD 21740
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. Schedule: Mid Shift Monday-Friday 10:00 am – 6:30 pm (optional 10:30 am – 7:00 pm)
Pay: $30.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Job Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of all warehousing equipment independently and effectively.
Maintain and troubleshoot plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum.
Understand shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems.
Perform routine forklift repairs and maintain batteries.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PM) and maintain repair records.
Provide training to operations associates on safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment.
Carry out additional duties as assigned and overtime as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
8-10 years of plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including electrical and mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
Ability to make quick, reliable decisions representing both the customer and Ryder.
Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
Vocational or technical certification preferred.
Experience operating forklift equipment required.
Equipment certification may be required.
