Assistant Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable assistant maintenance technician to support the lead maintenance technician. The role is full‑time (40 hours per week) with occasional weekend and on‑call work. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and machinery.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
Diagnose and resolve simple electrical and plumbing issues.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Provide on‑call and weekend support as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall repairs.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments.
