Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable
Assistant Maintenance Technician
in the North Topsail Beach, NC area to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the lead Maintenance Technician in performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring our facilities and equipment remain in excellent working condition.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and machinery.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
Diagnose and resolve simple electrical, and plumbing issues.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
On-Call and weekend work as needed.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting and drywall repairs.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments.
Pay Range & Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 hourly based on experience and qualifications.
