Landscape Technician (Commercial Maintenance)

If you enjoy working with your hands, spending your working day outdoors and enjoy hard work, this is the position for you! Landscape Technicians form the core of Timberline Landscaping and work primarily outdoors. This position requires, but is not limited to hard physical work, customer service, and time management. While Timberline strives to maintain a 40-hour work week, this job will occasionally require overtime and weekends. Seasonal snow removal may be an option/requirement depending on company needs. Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate mowers up to 60” Operate trimmer, edger, and backpack blower Pick up trash/debris Identify/remove weeds and proper pruning of plants Inspects and maintains lawns, beds, and landscapes Follows safety guidelines and use of PPE equipment Snow removal Other duties as assigned Requirements:

This job requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as adherence to all safety rules and policies Must be punctual, responsible and have a positive attitude Must be self-driven and reliable Must be able to interact with customers in a professional manner Must be able to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds (require help for over 50 lbs.) This is an outdoor job with exposure to adverse weather conditions This job, at a minimum, requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, control of hand tools and small to medium sized machinery
