Engineering Test Technician – Contracted / Contract-to-Hire We are seeking someone who is extremely Honest, Hardworking, and Safety-conscious, and Electrically smart to join our Engineering Test team as an Engineering Test Technician. This role involves setting up and executing test cases to validate new high-power AC power products including UPS, Static Switch, PDU, and other electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional integrity, self-motivation, and a genuine commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and test electrical equipment with meticulous attention to safety protocols

Connect and manage electrical systems and large cables (up to 50lbs)

Configure and operate test instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power meters, CTs, voltage probes)

Execute test procedures independently while maintaining detailed, accurate documentation

Troubleshoot electrical systems and test setups with minimal supervision

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas following 5S principles

Participate actively in team meetings and contribute improvement ideas

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Electronics/Electrical Engineering OR equivalent experience (military electrical certification, etc.)

Minimum 2 years hands‑on experience working with high‑power electrical systems

Proven experience with 120V single‑phase and multi‑phase electrical systems

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

Strong troubleshooting skills for AC and DC power circuitsExperience using oscilloscopes and power meters

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Clear English communication skills – both verbal and written

Strongly Preferred

Experience with 208/230/480V/600V 3‑phase systems

Background in electrical safety procedures and lockout/tagout

Previous experience in testing or manufacturing environments

Physical Requirements
