Position Summary:
The Test Technician works closely with MMIC design, program management, quality, mechanical design and RF test teams to transition the product from development phase to production phase. This position also designs and develops test solutions for MMIC; evaluates, optimizes and debugs first MMIC in lab. The candidate will work with a Design Engineer for the Characterization test plan execution of test data. A good understanding of products related to GaAs and GaN MMICs (LNAs, PAs, Switches, Passives etc.).
Salary Range : $90,000 - $110,000 per year
Job Function: Execute RF testing. Experienced with RF power amplifier, LNA testing. Mixer testing preferred.
Linearity, Noise Figure, Efficiency, ETC...
Experience with RF test equipment such as Network analyzers, Spectrum analyzers, Signal generators, Power meters / sensors, ETC... PNA-X experience a plus. Work with designer to verify the functionality of the Test Board on the RF test bench. Perform gauge R&R studies of TF to ensure repeatability and reproducibility. Assist with production test planning. Basic level of experience soldering components on PCBs. Experience troubleshooting RF test setups, equipment parameters and PCB assemblies. Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent required. Technician Certification + 5 years of experience in RF Product Test, or related field. Should have a good understanding of RF and Microwave test equipment such as PNA-X, Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Meters, including calibration methodologies, Cal-set manipulation and advanced measurements. Experience in RF measurements from Low Frequency to Super High Frequency at device level. Strong communication verbal and written skills to work in a CFT environment. Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership to drive high level tasks to completion. Physical Demands:
