Role Description
This full-time Legal Assistant position is based in Birmingham, Michigan. As a Legal Assistant, you will draft legal documents, send and reply to correspondences, calendar events, file pleadings, and complete administrative tasks, as well as help support trial or appellate preparation. You will also collaborate with attorneys on case investigations and client communications while gaining practical experience in litigation and legal strategies.
Qualifications
Familiarity with legal principles and concepts, or a proven desire to learn same, including foundational knowledge of law.
Proficient analytical skills to assess and evaluate case details and legal documents.
Exceptional communication and writing skills for legal documents and client correspondence.
Highly organized with the ability to manage tasks efficiently under attorney supervision.
A strong passion for growing with a firm designed to help its clients win challenging cases.
