Overview
WASHINGTON, DC (LOCAL & TRI-STATE CANDIDATES)
— We are assisting a warm, dual‑working professional family in Washington, DC in their search for an exceptional
FULL‑TIME WEEKDAY NANNY
to provide high‑level, attentive care for their two young sons, ages 2 years and 1 year. This is a long‑term
live‑in position during the workweek , with coverage running
Monday at 8:00 AM through Friday at 12:00 PM . While on shift, the nanny is considered on call
24/5 . Although night wakings are extremely infrequent, the nanny is expected to respond and provide care as needed. The nanny will live in during the workweek and return to her own residence independently when off shift. This role is ideal for a seasoned, professional caregiver who is warm, dependable, and thrives in a collaborative, fully staffed household. A full‑time housekeeper and household manager are already in place. The ideal candidate is mature, nurturing, highly organized, and an excellent communicator, with experience working in professional or high‑profile households. A background in early childhood development is strongly preferred. The older child will begin preschool in the fall, at which point the role will focus primarily on the younger child during school hours, while continuing to support both children during shared family time. The position offers a competitive salary of
$100,000–$150,000 gross annually via payroll , along with a comprehensive benefits package including full health, dental, and vision insurance,
