Catholic Medical Center . Responsibilities

Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on all non-clinical equipment. Records all maintenance activities performed within the computerized material maintenance systems including hours performed, closing notes and any troubleshooting activities. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on the electrical distribution system. Resets and replaces electrical breakers and fuses, maintains breaker boxes, installs disconnects and installs electrical receptacles. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on the emergency generator and electrical switchgear including maintaining emergency panels and installing emergency outlets. Installs network and data lines, as requested. Performs casualty-prevention electrical sweeps throughout the facility and repairs / replaces faulty circuit breakers, receptacles and equipment. Maintains an inventory of fuses, breakers, receptacles and other electrical consumables in the event of emergency situations. Repairs, installs, replaces and tests electrical circuits, equipment and appliances. Inspects, tests and repairs electrical lighting, signal, communication and power circuits and equipment. Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical equipment. Examines and tests various systems elements including distribution panel, controls, circuit fixtures and motors to locate obvious faults. Repairs electrical circuits and equipment. Replaces faulty elements of electrical systems. Dismantles electrical machinery and unsolders or unscrews wiring connections. Replaces defective mechanical parts and related electrical parts and assembles components according to diagrams. Restores electrical connections to complete circuits. Installs new wiring and electrical machinery. Studies blueprints; estimates quantities of materials needed and requisitions them. Maintains building one line and panel schedules as changes or modifications are implemented. Ensures confidentiality of employee, legal, client/patient, budget and all company matters. Participates in appropriate role in fire and disaster drills, fires and other situations. Exercises care in the use and operation of equipment and reference materials. Performs routine maintenance to ensure continued functioning of equipment. Maintains work area in a clean and organized manner. Troubleshoots and repairs low voltage systems and equipment related to building systems which may include (and is not limited to) nurse call/bell systems, code blue systems, TV systems, radio frequency systems, lighting control systems, etc. Researches and provides parts and materials lists to necessary personnel for purchasing that are required to perform repairs and maintenance on hospital systems. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and one to two years’ post-secondary vocational courses required. A minimum of five years general electrical work experience, including apprenticeship is required. New Hampshire Electrician license (masters license preferred) is required. Benefits

Monday through Friday; 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Periods of rotating on‑call duties, rotating weekend shifts, weekend work to support larger projects and intermittent adjusted hours to support compliance testing. Location
