Overview Safely and efficiently operate the Slitter in accordance with Printpack Safety and Quality standards.

7pm - 7am

Slitter Operator Overview but not inclusive of all expected job duties.

Slitter Operator Responsibilities

Follow all Printpack Safety policies

Operate every job with a Quality mindset

Operate lifting equipment, hoist, tilt-lock on rolls 20 to 300lbs

Responsible for neat and accurate production reports and job jackets to maintain traceability.

Maintain a clean and safe working area.

Complete housekeeping, hoist grounding & bonding inspections.

Ability to read and determine proper wind configurations per the rewind chart.

Operate the slitter at or above expected production targets

Accurately enter shift and job data into Prism

Help identify and report all Safety issues in area -including potential risks

Help identify and report all Quality issues in area

Able to safely push 50lb rolls on shaft and unloading tree

Trouble shoot issues on the slitter with a high degree of success

Properly segregate and label all materials

Use DMS boards to report out issues and escalate to management

Must be able to operate and be certified in forklift, powered truck, and pallet jack

Ability to operate industrial floor scales.

Perform Daily housekeeping and DTM tasks to ensure success and cleanliness

Remove and accurately weigh all waste

Store and return all unused equipment

Press Operator Responsibilities

Able to mount & proof flexo printing plates at the right repeat and cylinders.

Able to mix inks to get proper print color.

Read printing specifications and check for accuracy.

Meet printing press efficiency and waste targets.

Ability to operate industrial floor scales.

Keep the hazardous waste room clean and safe.

Trouble shoot issues on the press with a high degree of success

Must be able to operate and be certified in forklift, powered truck, and pallet jack

Perform Daily housekeeping and DTM tasks to ensure success and cleanliness

Shaft and un-shaft printing cylinders.

Responsible for printing and or coating products in conformance with specifications and manufacturing instructions.
