Safely and efficiently operator the Slitter in accordance with Printpack Safety and Quality standards.**7pm - 7am****Slitter Operator Overview but not inclusive of all expected job duties.**o
Follow all Printpack Safety policieso
Operate every job with a Quality mindseto
Operate lifting equipment, hoist, tilt-lock on rolls 20 to 300lbso
Responsible for neat and accurate production reports and job jackets to maintain traceability.o
Maintain a clean and safe working area.o
Complete housekeeping, hoist grounding & bonding inspections.o
Ability to read and determine proper wind configurations per the rewind chart.
Operate the slitter at or above expected production targetso
Accurately enter shift and job data into Prismo
Help identify and report all Safety issues in area -including potential riskso
Help identify and report all Quality issues in areao
Able to safely push 50lb rolls on shaft and unloading treeo
Trouble shoot issues on the slitter with a high degree of successo
Properly segregate and label all materialso
Use DMS boards to report out issues and escalate to managemento
Must be able to operate and be certified in forklift, powered truck, and pallet jacko
Ability to operate industrial floor scales.o
Perform Daily housekeeping and DTM tasks to ensure success and cleanlinesso
Remove and accurately weigh all wasteo
Store and return all unused equipment**Press Operator Overview but not inclusive of all expected job duties.**
Able to mount & proof flexo printing plates at the right repeat and cylinders.o
Able to mix inks to get proper print color.o
Read printing specifications and check for accuracy.o
Meet printing press efficiency and waste targets.o
Ability to operate industrial floor scales.o
Keep the hazardous waste room clean and safe.o
Trouble shoot issues on the press with a high degree of successo
