group in
Dover, New Jersey . The work hours for this
Afternoon Shift
position will be
Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm . Training will be on the 1st Shift Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.
New hire starting hourly rate: $ 24.79 ; after 12 months: $ 27.35 . The position will receive an hourly "shift premium" while assigned to an off‑shift.

JOB SUMMARY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the implementation of Alcoa/Howmet's EHS value and policy statement and accompanying principles.
Comply with all department, facility, corporate, and regulatory EH&S regulations.
Wear all required personal protective equipment.
Report all job‑related illness and injuries (per employee handbook).
Report all safety, health & environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
Attend all EH&S training.
Position Overview / Essential Job Functions
Run water jets, 4/5‑axis CNCs, rise and fall grinders, super polish.
Load/setup tooling (fixtures) and load castings into 6‑point nests, verifying fitment.
Setup and operate vibratory equipment.
Use a profilometer to inspect surface finish per job instruction.
Sieve media per activity instruction to maintain optimal quality.
Perform 100% inspection as required per job instruction.
Properly set tools (end mills).
Identify fixture and tooling wear.
Follow product criteria to ensure quality castings.
Adjust feed rates, speeds, offsets for non‑conforming castings.
Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Access to export‑controlled items; employment offers contingent on ability to lawfully obtain access.
Legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility required at hire; visa sponsorship not available.
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Candidate must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Dover, NJ; no relocation benefit offered.
Preferred Knowledge
Ability to read product blueprints.
Experience working with CNCs.
Experience milling high‑performance super alloys.
1–3 years in an engineering or manufacturing environment with hands‑on experience evaluating automated equipment and processes, and solving automated equipment issues.
Other Skills/Abilities
Experience in a production environment.
Familiar with TPM.
Good oral and written communication skills.
PC literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
Experience using industrial controllers.
Methodical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment and related issues.
Organization and discipline to solve problems with permanent solutions.
EHS Requirements
