What You'll Do
Serve as the go‑to expert for structuring mortgage applications and teaching new borrowers and loan officers how to create best‑practice files.
Support and mentor the six new Loan Officers hired in the last 30 days, guiding them through every step of the application process.
Build and manage pipelines, secure leads, and cultivate relationships with clients and referral partners.
Coach a team of 18 Loan Officers, focusing on file structuring, training, and leadership development.
Work collaboratively with the underwriting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of loans.
Qualifications
Proven experience with mortgage processing (Processor knowledge is a plus but not required).
Expertise in Conventional, Government, and Non‑QM loan products.
Fluency with dual‑use (DU) and livable properties (LP) guidelines.
Deep understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending criteria.
Strong, winning attitude with a relentless work ethic.
Demonstrated leadership ability and a willingness to coach and mentor others.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to educate others as if you were coaching a boss.
