Overview The Sales Manager for Building Management Systems (BMS) specializing in Temperature Controls and Energy Management Systems (EMS) will lead NY sales efforts to promote and sell advanced building automation solutions primarily in the New York Tri‑state geographic location. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver customized BMS and Energy solutions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Identify and engage new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients. Collaborate with Consulting Engineers to develop Control Specifications leading to potential opportunities. Present tailored temperature control and energy solutions to meet client needs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutual satisfaction. Collaborate with technical Sales teams to create proposals and ensure smooth project execution. Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights to senior management. Conduct technical presentations with your Sales team to prospective clients, consulting engineers, GC’s and mechanical contractors. Conduct monthly Sales meetings with the Sales team to review the monthly sales pipeline, review the Sales financials and gather information for projects close ratio (projected vs actual). Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as required. Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance. Collaborate internally with Finance, Operations, Engineering and Service departments to build a cohesive relationship. Compensation Range: 90,000 to 140,000 depending on experience. Qualifications

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering Business, or a related BMS Controls field. 5+ years of experience in BMS, HVAC, or Temperature Controls Sales. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of building automation systems and energy management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Fluent in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel as required. Benefits
