Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Two-year Associate's degree preferred.
Two years of prior “front‑of‑house” supervision and leadership experience (managing employees, recruiting, customer service, labor scheduling, budgeting, expense management).
Strong team orientation and customer service skills.
Basic computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
Ability to carry a serving tray with at least four meals or beverages; able to clean apartments and dining room as needed.
Driving responsibilities – may use company vehicle or personal vehicle; valid driver’s license required.
Compliance with Company Motor Vehicle Policy.
Completion of all required Atria training programs.
Responsibilities
Hire, orient, schedule, train, coach, counsel dining room and housekeeping staff.
Lead Sales as Manager on Duty each week; respond to inquiries, conduct tours, complete lease signings.
Answer incoming calls promptly and transfer as appropriate.
Provide timely feedback and consistent performance management.
Establish and manage labor/supplies budget and expenses.
Schedule staff per resident census and budgets; control overtime within standards.
Deliver high levels of customer service; create restaurant‑style dining atmosphere; involve in dining experience.
Work closely with Executive Chef and General Manager/Executive Director to satisfy residents on food, service, dining, and housekeeping.
Review daily menu with staff; coordinate room service delivery.
Provide quality and compliance leadership; support building inspections, quality checks of housekeeping, kitchen, dining room; ensure life/safety rules followed.
Train team on company standards – cleanliness, sanitation, appearance, service, satisfaction.
Confirm tables set per company standards.
Solve issues before they become complaints.
Act as "Manager on Duty" when GMD or Executive Director absent.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
