About gt.school gt.school enables gifted learners to finish high school by 8th grade—an acceleration 5-10x beyond conventional timelines. You will apply AI‑driven adaptive learning systems to individualize each student's educational trajectory, cultivating academic excellence alongside emotional intelligence and resilience. We seek coaches who recognize themselves in our students: individuals with exceptional drive who understand the ambition to accomplish more in less time. This role is not traditional teaching. You will serve as a coach and mentor, utilizing AI resources and motivational strategies to guide gifted children toward early high school completion. There will be no classroom management or conventional lecturing.
What You Will Be Doing
Guide and inspire gifted students toward completing high school by 8th grade using customized, fast‑track learning programs
Mentor students in essential life competencies—including resilience, grit, public speaking, and focus—in addition to academic objectives
Utilize AI‑powered platforms to monitor student advancement, customize learning content, and adapt instructional approaches
Encourage learners to progress through adaptive learning applications and reach ambitious educational milestones
Work alongside a forward‑thinking team that is transforming education for exceptionally capable students
Tutor Key Responsibilities
Available to work in‑person at our Austin (Georgetown), TX location
Proven record of academic distinction (examples include National Merit Scholar, academic Olympiads, prestigious scholarships, dual‑enrollment programs, etc.)
Minimum of 3 years of experience coaching, mentoring, or instructing gifted and talented students or other high‑performing youth
Regular, ongoing use of generative AI tools in educational settings (such as personalizing lessons, designing assessments, modifying instruction)
Strong communication abilities and proficiency in public speaking
Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
