The position performs professional-level work as an advanced practice provider delivering high-quality medical services across multiple clinic areas, including maternal health, women’s health, sexually transmitted disease services, and child health. The role focuses on accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based care while supporting public health goals and coordinated clinical operations. Provide prenatal, postpartum, and primary medical care in both routine and group-based maternity care settings Deliver women’s health and family planning services, including preventive screenings, contraceptive counseling, gynecological care, and long-acting reversible contraceptive procedures Provide well-child care and access appointments in the child health clinic Deliver care to adolescents and adults in sexually transmitted disease services Assist with tuberculosis-related medical care as needed Obtain and document relevant customer histories and perform appropriate physical examinations Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and screening tests Develop assessments and care plans based on clinical findings and document all services in the electronic medical record Prescribe medications and contraceptive methods and dispense medications as appropriate Perform insertion and removal of approved long-acting reversible contraceptive devices Provide health education, counseling, and follow-up planning Arrange referrals and consult with collaborating providers as needed Offer clinical consultation within scope of practice to nursing staff across service areas Support clinic coordination and assist with care coordination functions as needed Provide superb customer service, treating every individual with dignity and respect while actively working to improve the human condition through compassionate, high-quality care Minimum Education and Experience

Licensed or approved to practice as a physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or certified nurse midwife At least one year of experience as an advanced practice provider Preferred Qualifications

Two or more years of advanced practice provider experience Experience in primary care, pediatrics, and low-risk obstetric care Experience with group-based maternity care models Ability to independently perform contraceptive device insertions and removals Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both oral and written Thorough knowledge of medical history taking, health assessment, clinical evaluation, and care planning. Strong skills in performing clinical procedures, interpreting laboratory results, documenting care, and providing education and counseling. Ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary staff while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
