Description
Trains and supervises beverage servers, bar apprentices, bar porters and bartenders. Ensures that beverage service is efficient and to the highest standard. Follows all operating procedures, including safety and health procedures, in accordance with company standards.
Assists the Beverage Manager in selecting, training, supervising, evaluating, and scheduling beverage associates
Places beverage orders in Stratton-Warren
Performs daily labor and payroll edits in KRONOS
Executes month-end inventory by physically counting all beverage products
Administers progressive discipline and attendance points according to company policy
Adheres to the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement
Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety and sanitation
Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests.
Requirements
At least 21 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Two to three years of experience in bar or restaurant operations with progressive supervisory experience
Strong guest service, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Experience with effective planning/implementation techniques, program/system planning, decision-making, staff development, statistical reporting and cost-benefit analysis
Knowledge of mixology, wines and all phases of beverage administration
Ability to communicate in group discussions and in one-on-one situations
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and touch-screen POS systems
Walking (75% or more of the time)
Carrying, pushing, pulling or lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. (50% of the time)
Ability to communicate via cell phones, radios and pagers (critical)
Literacy (critical)
Must obtain and maintain all required cards/titles; must verify right to work in the U.S.
