The college invites qualified candidates to apply for the full‑time Nursing Faculty for the Fall 2025-2026 Semester. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student learning, assessment, and the use of technology in the delivery of instruction.
Responsibilities
Teach nursing theory, clinical/simulation, and lab courses with a focus on medical‑surgical, pediatrics, obstetrics, and mental health material.
Complete a minimum of a 15‑credit hour teaching load per semester.
Effectively design and implement learning strategies, assessment, and use technology in instruction.
Participate in faculty and departmental committees.
Contribute to department, division, and college‑wide service activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Active, unencumbered Missouri nursing license with no disciplinary history.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing.
Experience teaching at the college level.
Experience as a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
Experience with Mental Health Nursing.
Demonstrated ability to embrace technology in teaching.
