Position Overview As a Catering Lead, you will serve customers, grow our catering business, and support local communities. This role offers a foundation for a career in catering and sales within Panera.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process, prepare, and deliver catering orders to clients.
Organize and manage a team of employees for large catering orders when needed.
Provide excellent customer service; follow up on orders and respond to customer calls promptly.
Manage existing accounts to secure repeat catering sales.
Collaborate with café teams and the Regional Catering Sales Manager to identify and pursue new business.
Develop and execute targeted plans to increase catering sales, including strategic planning, cold calling, presentation, and closing techniques.
Use Outlook Calendar and other online tools to maximize organization and follow‑up.
Communicate effectively via email and other channels.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong organization, customer service, and time‑management skills.
Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive attitude.
Ability to work well under pressure and with a diverse group of people.
Proven track record of success in a related role.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
