Job Title: Group Fitness Trainer
Location: Studio Flex45 – 763 E Thousand Oaks Blvd
Job Type: Part-Time (Flexible Schedule)
Job Summary: Studio Flex45 is seeking an energetic and motivated Group Fitness Trainer to coach engaging, results‑driven group workouts in a boutique fitness environment. This role is ideal for a coach who is passionate about movement, recovery, and creating an exceptional member experience.
Responsibilities
Coach safe, effective, and high‑energy group fitness classes
Demonstrate proper exercise technique and provide modifications for all fitness levels
Motivate and engage members while maintaining a positive class environment
Build relationships with members and foster community
Ensure studio cleanliness, safety, and equipment readiness
Follow Studio Flex45 coaching standards and operational procedures
Qualifications
Current Group Fitness or Personal Training certification (ACE, NASM, AFAA, ISSA, or equivalent)
CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and coaching skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Preferred
1+ year group fitness or functional training experience
Experience with strength training, HIIT, or circuit‑based workouts
Knowledge of mobility, recovery, or corrective exercise
Physical Requirements
Ability to demonstrate exercises and movements
Ability to lift and move fitness equipment
Ability to coach classes for extended periods
