We are partnering with a leading U.S. industrial solutions manufacturer to hire an experienced hunter to drive new business growth across North Carolina and Virginia. This role owns a ~$3.1M territory and is focused on opening doors, creating demand, and converting complex opportunities in automation-heavy environments. If you are curious by nature and confident selling engineered-solutions tied to large equipment, this role offers autonomy, strong earnings, and long-term stability.
What You’ll Do
Prospect and develop new customers across industrial and automation markets
Open doors at distribution centers, ports, OEMs, and heavy industrial facilities
Lead discovery and sell custom-engineered, technical solutions
Present to operations, engineering, and leadership stakeholders
Build trust through a consultative, SPIN-style selling approach
Manage a geographic territory independently while collaborating internally
Target Customer Environments
Distribution Centers & automated facilities
Ports and bulk material handling operations
Paper, automotive, and heavy industrial manufacturing
Who You Are
A true hunter with territory sales experience
Comfortable prospecting, cold outreach, and opening new accounts
Experienced selling technical or engineered products (not commodity sales)
Skilled at asking smart questions and adapting to customer personalities
Relationship-driven, patient, and credible with technical buyers
Confident presenting large, complex solutions
