Our client is seeking an HR Administrator to support daily operations within the Human Resources area. This position involves front‑line customer service, personnel record maintenance (hard copy and electronic), data entry, and a range of administrative tasks under the direction of the HR Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update benefits information, deductions, and plan summaries within HRIS.
Assist with benefits open enrollment activities and special projects.
Support staffing functions such as scheduling interviews and arranging travel/lodging.
Complete filing of employee personnel and payroll documents.
Ensure job descriptions, HR policies, benefits information, and salary band data are current in HRIS.
Perform data entry of new hire and employee information into HRIS.
Assist the Senior HR Specialist with salary budgeting, modeling, and linking performance results to salary adjustments.
Process, verify, and maintain personnel documentation, including performance evaluations and FMLA leaves.
Answer employee inquiries and provide information for employment verification.
Compile reports and documents such as headcount reports and organizational charts.
Assist in planning and implementing employee functions and related activities.
Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Chesapeake, VA.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $18.00 – $18.50 per hour.
