Our client, a leading brand producer of conveyor chains, drive chains, sprockets and special components, is seeking an Inside Sales Professional.
Seeking an Inside Sales professional for the U.S. subsidiary of a German manufacturing company, consisting of approx. 14 employees. This role is a critical link between the Outside Sales Managers based in North America and the Product Management team at the headquarters in Germany. The position will be based within our Lithia Springs, GA sales office.
Our clients provide their customers with individual solutions for their chain and sprocket needs, a number of world‑renowned companies already rely on the clients' products and services. Customer satisfaction and trust are the basic pillars of their philosophy. To meet their customers’ quality requirements and to ensure consistent product quality, their Quality Management has been implemented in all their processes according to the strict regulations of DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive customer support services, such as responding to (technically‑related) inquiries and driving a process‑oriented quote and order workflow
Responsible for processes surrounding quote creation and order entry, assist with tracking open projects, and assist sales team with researching specific customers or markets when needed
Serve as liaison between the engineering and production departments at factories in Europe and China, North American customers, and the outside sales managers
Maintain up‑to‑date material and customer data in SAP database
Calculate sales pricing in close cooperation with outside sales; liaison with freight forwarders to quote freight costs by sea and air; track shipments for on‑time delivery
Work with logistics and accounting department to coordinate invoicing after successful order delivery
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with at least 1‑3 years of relevant experience in inside sales or back‑office roles
Experience with SAP & Microsoft Office suite; other ERP system experience will be considered
Highly‑organized, process‑oriented and detail‑oriented working style is absolutely essential
Familiarity with international logistics (INCOTERMS)
Foreign Language: German and/or Spanish language skills are a key advantage
Willingness to join and contribute to the success of a diverse, international team
