Key Responsibilities

Set up and adjust manufacturing machinery and equipment according to production specifications.

Install and remove tooling, dies, and fixtures for various production runs.

Perform machine calibration and fine-tune operational parameters to optimize performance.

Conduct first-off piece inspections to ensure product quality meets required standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize production downtime.

Document setup procedures, machine settings, and process parameters accurately.

Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards during setup operations.

Recommended Qualifications

2+ years of experience in machine setup, changeover, and adjustment in a manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills for production machinery.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.

Proficient in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Knowledge of quality control procedures, including first article inspection and in-process checks.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation systems.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.

Proficiency in CAD software for interpreting complex designs or creating simple fixtures.

Ability to perform minor preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
