Join Flynn Panera, one of the world’s largest Panera Bread franchisees, as an Assistant Manager. Built on a decentralized business model, you’ll help oversee daily operations and lead a team of up to 75 staff members.
Position Overview Our upscale, friendly cafes offer baked breads, pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll run departments, support the General Manager, and ensure a top‑quality service experience for guests.
No Fryers and No Late Nights
– We prioritize a grease‑free, alcohol‑free environment. Shift length typically supports an early‑morning schedule.
Core Responsibilities
Lead team members, providing coaching, counseling, and performance documentation.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and safety.
Assist in ordering, scheduling, labor management, marketing, and facility operations.
Analyze sales and profitability, develop and execute plans for sustained growth.
Serve as the primary resource for resolving associate questions and issues.
Ensure bakery‑cafe staff are fully trained and competent.
Coordinate entire operation during scheduled shifts, including greeting customers and conducting table visits.
Qualifications
At least 2–3 years in hospitality/restaurant management.
A degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management preferred.
Food‑management certifications a plus.
Demonstrated “Run it Like You Own It” mentality and strong interpersonal skills.
