Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service.
Offer friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers.
Assist customers, clean display cases, and clean shelves.
Clean, fill and rotate the self‑serve displays within the Dairy Deli Frozen Department.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including lifting/sorting products up to 60 pounds as required.
Work in a fast‑paced grocery store environment, standing, walking, kneeling, and using visual and auditory cues.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish / English, communicate with the general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently 45 pounds, occasionally 60 pounds.
Additional Desired Skills
Basic PC / Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
Opportunity Under direct supervision, the Dairy Deli Frozen Clerk will be part of the Store Operations Team, delivering friendly and efficient service while maintaining product quality.
