Responsibilities Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the
Checker
is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, performing cash register operations and safeguarding company assets. Must be able to bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of times.
Qualifications
Read/write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift up to 25 lb, frequently up to 45 lb, occasionally up to 60 lb.
