$55,000.00 / yr – $55,000.00 / yr Summary of Position
The General Manager is accountable for the management and operations of the restaurant, ensuring that team members are hospitality focused and performing their job duties. The General Manager reports to the District Manager and supervises Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members. The General Manager operates the restaurant in support of the business plan and displays the Capstone values: People, Hospitality, and Integrity. Responsibilities
Recruit and hire staff, and maintain a bench for future growth. Ensure all marketing plans are executed, including proper installation of POP and menu board elements. Ensure the restaurant is staffed properly and team members are trained through effective use of training programs. Ensure the restaurant is open and fully operational during business hours as defined by the District Manager, Regional Director of Operations, and Operating Partner. Provide leadership by creating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude, and commitment to company objectives. Maintain correct inventory levels and ensure all equipment is maintained in excellent condition through approved vendors. Set an example by maintaining excellent working knowledge and high proficiency in all phases of restaurant operations and technology. Supervise in accordance with performance and operating policies set in the operations standards manual. Develop, motivate, and guide Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members to perform at their highest level. Review preliminary P&L and forward questions to District Manager. Adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to provide a safe and compliant environment. Qualifications
3–5 years management experience in a quick‑service/fast‑food dining concept. Financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management. Competencies
Valid driver’s license. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work flexible hours and shifts. Ability to operate all equipment necessary to run the restaurant. Ability to make decisions under pressure while delegating tasks. Strong conflict resolution skills. High sense of urgency. Self‑motivated. Excellent organizational, planning, and time‑management skills. Physical Requirements
Stand for long periods. Work around high temperatures. Work in close quarters with others. Lift 50 pounds comfortably. Use various cleaning products. Maintain quality and speed standards under pressure. Pay Range
