Job Summary
Safety is always FIRST at Tyson Foods. All team members are expected to follow all safety standards, policies, and procedures. All required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading materials using a motor‑powered forklift or stand‑up lift. Candidates may be considered for openings in any Material Handling department.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner.
Move, store, and stage materials to designated locations.
Pull product for production and outbound loads.
Operate forklifts and stand‑up lifts for the majority of the shift.
Perform job duties requiring bending, twisting, reaching, standing, and walking.
Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs frequently and 70+ lbs occasionally.
Work up to 12‑hour shifts, including overtime and weekends as required.
Work in a cold and damp environment (28°F to 42°F).
Work Environment
Cold temperature environment (28°F – 42°F).
Constant standing, walking, and equipment operation.
Fast‑paced production and warehousing areas.
Work Shift
Shift A: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
Shift B: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
ALL SHIFTS (United States of America).
Required PPE
Hard hat.
Safety‑toed shoes.
Safety glasses.
Ear plugs.
Freezer suit.
Gloves.
Reflective gear.
Requirements
Minimum six (6) months of prior warehouse forklift driving experience.
Experience may be from multiple employers as long as it totals at least six months.
Must be able to complete Tyson Foods powered industrial truck training.
