Local Delivery Driver - CDL A (Relief Route)

is looking for a Local Delivery Driver (Relief Route) to fill shifts for drivers who are unavailable due to vacation, illness, or other circumstances. The relief driver will complete routes that change day to day, delivering products to stores and customers. Duties include driving the designated vehicle, unloading, merchandising, building displays, invoicing, and managing cash and charges. The role requires manual handling of products ranging from 20–45 pounds per case, and involves frequent lifting, bending, and squatting.
Job Details Salary: $30.60 / hour
Location: Must live within 200 miles of Richmond, VA (zip 23231).
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver products and execute all promotions.
Service all scheduled customers by the end of your shift.
Merchandise accounts to local standards.
Follow DOT regulations.
Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account.
Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
Basic Qualifications
21 years or older.
Valid U.S. CDL or CDL Permit with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (statespecific details).
Pass required drug test and physical capabilities test.
Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Helpful Experience
Operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license (e.g., basic driving functions).
Merchandising products (shelving, displays, cleaning, rotating stock).
Operating equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
