Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full‑Time Warehouse Sit‑Down Forklift Operators.

Pay: $17.25 per hour

Overtime: $25.88 per hour

Shift differential: $1.00

Schedule: Night shift (2‑2‑3 schedule) rotating weekdays and weekends from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred

Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Team‑player attitude; able to work within a diverse environment

Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels

Highly thorough and dependable

Must be punctual with a good attendance record

Performs work independently with minimal supervision

High degree of initiative

Accuracy even under pressure

Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to work using health and safety methods

Available for a flexible schedule on various work shifts

Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting

Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract

Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induce, stage products, and load/unload trucks

Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)

Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during the core shift hour of production

Perform other duties as assigned
