The Role The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe handling of technology products and components. This role leads warehouse staff, maintains inventory integrity, and ensures processes align with company standards, quality requirements, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations
Supervise daily inbound, outbound, and storage operations for technology products and components
Ensure accurate receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods
Monitor workflow to meet productivity, quality, and delivery targets
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
Team Leadership
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals
Allocate tasks, monitor attendance and performance
Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment
Inventory & Systems
Oversee quarterly stocktakes, stock audits, and discrepancy investigations
Ensure correct handling of sensitive, high‑value, or fragile tech equipment
Maintain accurate documentation and system updates
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams
Health, Safety & Compliance
Enforce health and safety policies and warehouse best practices
Ensure compliance with company procedures, security standards, and regulatory requirements
Conduct safety briefings and incident reporting
Maintain a clean, organised, and secure warehouse environment
Continuous Improvement
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Support implementation of new systems, tools, or operational changes
Assist with scaling operations as the company grows
Essential Skills
Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
Experience in a technology, electronics, or fast-moving inventory environment preferred
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control
Experience using WMS systems
Leadership and people‑management skills
Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Education & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Diploma or certification in logistics, supply chain, or operations (preferred)
Forklift or material‑handling certification (advantageous)
