For this US-based position, the base pay range is $15.00 - $20.28 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
As our
Customer Service Representative , you’ll work to help patients check into the hospital during registration. It’s fast-paced on occasion and you’ll be the person they rely on to answer questions during registration. You’ll build trust by collecting information accurately and quickly while listening with compassion to address fears, concerns, and questions. Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment. You’ll collect details across multiple screens and input them correctly between physician and nurse check-ins. You should feel comfortable navigating multiple programs and typing quickly as patients speak. You may work around clinicians interrupting the registration process for emergent clinical care. Help people who may be very ill or worried. You’ll listen carefully to ease anxiety, ask follow-up questions, and build rapport in real time. Operate in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, assisting patients with completing their registration. You will handle varied health plans and coverage, and you’ll gain knowledge through training. This is not a casual desk job. Be part of a team that supports your career goals. High School Diploma or GED Excellent customer service experience Be prepared to be up to date on all vaccinations, pass a drug test, and pass a background check prior to hire.
