Job Summary Baptist Health is seeking a Virtual Safety Monitor Technician for our Virtual Monitoring Unit located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full‑time, night‑shift position. The technician monitors patients via live video feeds, watches for signs of distress, confusion, or unsafe movement, and uses calm, compassionate communication to provide verbal redirection. If a patient requires direct assistance, the technician alerts onsite nursing staff.
Responsibilities
Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
Verbally redirect patients from engaging in any at‑risk behaviors.
If unable to engage the patient, summon onsite nursing staff or a caregiver for assistance.
Qualifications
Active Florida CNA license required.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate’s Degree preferred.
1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
1–2 years of hospital experience preferred.
1–2 years of direct patient care experience preferred.
Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant required.
