Maintenance Technician, Mid and Second Shift: Grande Shores Resort As the maintenance worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cosmetic appearance and the mechanical function of the resort buildings and grounds, in both the interior and exterior of the property. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in a wide range of hotel upkeep. The technician will complete work orders assigned by the supervisor while following safety regulations and respecting guests.

Responsibilities

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards

Perform maintenance and repairs with a minimum of guest disturbance

Replacement of light fixtures, fixing drywall/wallpaper, painting

Repairing of broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures; other light plumbing work as needed

Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs, along with other light electrical work

Ability to diagnose HVAC matters, upkeep and resolve simple matters

Appliance, furniture, and fixture repairs as needed

Completes all work orders in a timely and detailed manner per company program standards

Execution of scheduled preventative maintenance

Maintains all storage areas and work spaces in a clean, safe and secure manner

Requirements

Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Previous experience in a similar field

Able to work independently

Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical skills, preventive maintenance procedures, and reasonable understanding of building equipment and hand tools
