Program Support Services – Junior Location:

Tier 1 background investigation (HSPD-12 / CAC eligible)
Position Overview The Junior Program Support Services Specialist provides administrative and operational support for the Third-Party Liability (TPL) Program within the Medical Accounts Receivable function. This role focuses on case development, data collection, correspondence, and coordination related to tort claims and medical cost recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze medical admission, injury, and disposition reports from CHCSII/IHiS, TRICARE contractors, DoD, and USCG facilities
Compile and validate medical and accident data related to motor vehicle accidents and personal injuries
Interview beneficiaries and obtain insurance, accident, and legal information
Prepare and maintain tort case files and supporting documentation
Explain TPL statutes, regulations, and processes to beneficiaries and insurance representatives
Assist beneficiaries with completing required forms and documentation
Draft correspondence and respond to requests from attorneys, legal offices, and government agencies
Prepare FMCRA liens and billing documentation (including UB-92 forms)
Enter and track cases in government-approved systems
Maintain case files, manage incoming mail/faxes, and scan and route correspondence
Perform data entry and task tracking using Microsoft Access and Outlook
Collaborate effectively with team members and apply critical thinking to problem solving
Required Qualifications
Associate degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a general office or administrative setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
