The Office of Medical Education in the College of Medicine oversees the development, implementation, evaluation, and accreditation of the Lead.Serve.Inspire. (LSI) curriculum for the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. The LSI curriculum integrates foundational science with early patient interaction and longitudinal clinical practice, leveraging the resources of a comprehensive academic health center. The curriculum is structured into three parts across four years: Part One: Clinical Foundations (Years 1–2), Part Two: Clinical Application (Year 3), and Part Three: Advanced Clinical Management (Year 4).

Position Summary The Education Program Coordinator on the Part Three team plays a vital role in coordinating and delivering the Advanced Management of Relationship-Centered Care (AMRCC) curriculum, including organizing clinical learning experiences, course schedules, student rosters, and rotation site and orientation logistics. This position collaborates closely with the Unit Directors, the Part Three Academic Program Director and Manager, and other faculty and staff to ensure effective implementation, coordination, and continuous improvement of the curriculum. Serves as a primary point of contact for students regarding academic planning and progress; provides guidance and advocates for student success. Provides coordination and administrative support for cross-functional projects and task forces aligned with the Office of Biomedical Education’s mission.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Two years of relevant experience required.

Requires successful completion of a background check.

Selected candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with educational technologies including learning management systems.

Experience with computer programs for educational administration, including calendars, spreadsheets, and survey software.

Willingness to learn new software programs as appropriate.
